DESCRIPTION:We are proud to invite you to an introductory event to the STEM committee of LINC. With the ever-progressing world of technology\, students with these key technical skills are heavily sought after in the financial industry. During this event we will elaborate on the role of LINC-STEM within LINC\, what benefits there are with joining the committee and what advantages an individual with knowledge within STEM has in the financial industry. During the event the Quantiative Research Team (TQR) of LINC will be introduced as well.\nThe event is intended for anyone who wants to learn more about the work of LINC STEM and the impact that science\, technology\, engineering and mathematics has on the financial industry. It does not matter if you are studying finance or engineering\, the event is open to all students at Lund University.\nOn the agenda:\n– Introduction to the work of LINC STEM and information about future events.\n– Why you should join LINC STEM.\n– Benefits of having studied STEM when working in finance.\n– Importance of coding within the financial industry.\n– Short introduction to the TQR team of LINC.\nNote that the webinar will be held in English and no sign-up is required. A zoom link will be posted 30 minutes prior to the event
