Investment Banking Forum 2020
September 18, 2020 @ 9:45 am - 5:00 pm

LINC’s biggest and most popular event is the Investment Banking Forum. It’s held on an annual basis in the last week of September, and this year IBF celebrates 14 years. However, due to the Covid-19 circumstances, this year’s IBF will be held digitally using Microsoft Teams.
The event gives participants a unique opportunity to virtually meet and interact with the very top firms of the finance industry from London, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. The ambitious students that are awarded a spot will have the opportunity to interact with firm representatives through workshops, case studies, interviews and a virtual after-work.

The day will start with an introduction to the day with opening remarks from Marcus von Scheele, the President of LINC, followed by a presentation from our keynote speaker. Then we will proceed with the workshops and presentations.
Prior to the event, there will be an information meeting for the selected students where more information about the forum and the participating firms will be provided. The information meetings are set to be held on the 13th of September. This information meeting is mandatory and will also work as a tech-test to confirm that everything works as it’s supposed to do.
Furthermore, all selected students are required to be present in Lund at LUSEM on the 11th of September to have their photos taken and after doing so will receive a goodie bag. If you aren’t available to be physically present in Lund on the 11th of September, you will have to send a photo, a guide outlining our requirements for the photo will be sent to all selected students.
Be aware that if you are participating in IBF, attendance for the whole day is required as well as participating in the information meeting.
If you are interested in participating in this year’s IBF, please see the application guide in the link below before sending your application, as a CV in the correct format is required to be awarded a spot.
